No promises, but I see this request more often. Until then, they are just files on your PC, there's a button in the load screen that takes you to folder :)
I think there could be multiple types of plants apart from just grass and normal plants lilly pads for the water as an aquatic plant cactuses for dry parts and maybe moss can evolve from microalgae and then develop into plants instead of a normal algae evolving into a giant plant to make it more realistic.
Also if you add small plants maybe you could add small animals(insects) but to avoid simulating millions of insects you can just make it so that every insect species lives in a specific area and has a specific population and you can use that information to generate insects close to the camera in random places when the player is nearby and when they go away and come back you can just generate them again in random places so you don't have to simulate things when they are not loaded and only when they have to be. Ngl I think the game could really use insects because imagine finding a giant mosquito irl it looks so weird so if you're trying to add arthropods it would be SO much better if they were small and only loaded when needed.
I love this game it definetly deserves more players maybe if a famous youtuber like ishowspeed or dantdm played it it would get more attention but also i think another way to get players is with videos that have a name that make it impossible to ignore like when the "I'm adding SEX to my evolution simulation game the sapling" that video has more views than any other video in the channel so maybe if you made something like "I'm adding RACISM" or "I'm adding DATING" or something like that would make more people click the video and then they learn about this game but idk how they would add racism or dating
dude this game is the absolute best but I'm on a dumb Chromebook that blocks Linux so I cant play :( I would absolutely love it if you released a ps4 version or just some console editions.
Oh Hi Wessel Stoop! I am a big fan of evolution! Thanks for creating this wonderful game! I really want to download it, but I can't because it's in dollars, not in pounds. And I can't afford to download it on Steam.

where is the scenarios in version linux v13.23?
Still under the construction; the v12.83 is the latest stable version! I realize only now I didn't really make this clear in the filenames, will fix.

is there an option to see and edit detritus so i can see where mushrooms can grow and add more so that they can?
Not really, atm you only see it when placing fungi. Good to know you would be interested though!
